Brentford are yet to receive a formal offer for in-demand midfielder Ryan Woods, according to reports.
The former Shrewsbury Town man has attracted interested from recently-relegated Sunderland with new manager Simon Grayson keen to add Championship experience to the Black Cats squad.
A £2million fee was reported, however it's thought that the club would demand significantly more for the 23-year-old, as Grayson looks to quickly assemble a team ready for the start of Sunderland's campaign on Friday 4th August.
Whether the Bees would be willing to lose a key player such as Woods remains to be seen, as they look to build on their campaign from last season and mount a push towards the play-offs.
