Brentford are considering a double swoop for out-of-contract duo Andy Keogh and Chris Basham.

Boss Mark Warburton has promised to give the existing players a chance in the Championship but is expected to make tweaks to the squad in the close season.

Keogh and Basham ended this campaign in the division at Blackpool and have the experience the Brentford manager is looking for in his recruitment drive.

The duo are likely to become available in the next few weeks and Bees are set to swoop, according to Sky Sports.

Irish striker Keogh was on loan at the Tangerines from Millwall, while defender Basham has been with the seaside club since 2010.
