Nick Proschwitz is poised to leave Brentford on loan after dropping down the pecking order at Griffin Park.

The striker has made 20 appearances for the Bees, scoring twice, but his last minutes came in the 4-2 defeat to Ipswich on Boxing Day.

With Chris Long extending his loan at Griffin Park, the German has not featured in the match-day 18 in recent weeks.

Manager Mark Warburton said: “That's the plan. He needs to go and play games. He's a mature player.

“He's trained hard every day and he needs to go and play some games.”

Warburton added defender Liam Moore to the squad after the 22-year-old joined the club until the end of the season.
