Dean Smith has insisted that Brentford will not be welcoming any offers or enquiries for any of their leading players.
Jota has been linked with a move to West Ham, while reports have suggested Hull and Sheffield Wednesday are looking at Rico Henry and Harlee Dean respectively.
However, the Bees head coach maintained that they had received no bids for any of their star man.
“We've had no bids for any of our players and we're not welcoming them either,” he said.
If nothing was to develop from other clubs making offers for players then Smith would not be going back into the transfer market himself.
He added: “I'm not sure. If we have any going out we'll have to react to that but we're not looking for anything either way.”
Brentford fans, though, will be hoping that August 31 comes quickly round with the status quo being maintained.
