Brentford are having a look at Forest Green Rovers defender Eddie Oshodi.

The 21-year-old came through the ranks at Watford before moving to the New Lawn in 2011, where he has racked up 85 appearances for the Conference club.

With Ben Nugent returning to Cardiff City this week, Bees boss Mark Warburton is short of cover at the back and is casting an eye over Oshodi in training this week.

The Griffin Park chief knows the England C international from their time working together at Vicarage Road.

Oshodi played in the same youth team as the likes of Lee Hodson and Piero Mingoia, who both spent spells in TW8 on loan.

The centre-back made two senior appearances for the Hornets and also gained experience at Dagenham and Rushden.
