Brentford midfielder Toumani Diagouraga has agreed to join Portsmouth on a month's loan.

The 26-year-old has featured 17 times for the Bees this season, but has played just once under new boss Mark Warburton, as a substitute in the win against Peterborough on January 1.

Diagouraga still has 18 months remaining on his contract at Griffin Park and was recently assured over his future by the Griffin Park chief.

However, Warburton has allowed the former Watford youngster to move to Fratton Park to stay match-fit.

Diagouraga is due to head south this afternoon before wrapping up the deal in the next 24 hours.
