Brentford B have further strengthened their ranks after adding Danish youth international Mads Bech Sørensen to the squad from AC Horsens.

The 18-year-old has agreed a four year deal and will train with the squad this week ahead of fixtures against Southampton and Everton U23s.

The defender has featured 25 times for Horsens and has been capped by his country at U18 and U19 level.

Brentford's head of football operations Rob Rowan said: “Mads is someone we’ve tracked for more than six months so I’m really pleased that we’ve managed to get it over the line and have him here for the next four years.

“Mads is a versatile player having already featured at centre back, left back and left midfield for Horsens which is quite rare for someone so young.

“It’s important for defenders within our style of play to be good on the ball, have physical qualities for one-on-one duels and read the game well.

“I am confident that Mads has quality and potential in all three areas and will continue to develop under the guidance of the technical staff.”
