Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov is in Monaco to complete a move to the Ligue 1 outfit.

The former Manchester United frontman had been linked with a reunion with his old club Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the Bulgarian has instead flown to the principality to help fill the void left by an injury to Radamel Falcao.

Falcao went under the knife last week on a knee problem that has put his World Cup dream with Colombia in doubt.

Monaco manager Claudio Ranieri refused to speak about Berbatov when questioned over the possibility of signing the experienced striker this morning.
