Belgian side Gent have confirmed they are interested in signing Fulham's Denis Odoi but the Whites will only sell if they reach an appropriate fee.

The full back moved to Craven Cottage last season and scored twice in 27 appearances as the west Londoners were beaten in the play-off semi finals.

But, after the Belgian side sold Thomas Foket to Atalanta in Italy, they are keen to bring Odoi back to his homeland.

“We are looking forward to sell midfielder Thomas Foket to Italian Serie A side Atalanta and we will use part of the money to sign Odoi,” manager Michael Louwagie stated.

Head over heels: Denis Odoi celebrates scoring

With Scott Malone joining Huddersfield, Slavisa Jokanovic won't be keen to see another full back option depart.

The Whites have rebuffed a €3million bid already from the Belgian side and are holding out for a fee in the region of €4m.
