Brentford have completed the loan signing of Blackburn Rovers midfielder Alan Judge.

We exclusively revealed the Bees had agreed a deal for the Irishman yesterday and the paperwork has gone through this morning.

Boss Mark Warburton is understood to have beaten League One rivals Sheffield United to the 25-year-old’s signature.

"He is a good Championship player and is a positive addition to our squad," Bees manager Warburton told the club's official website. "Alan offers us options, both wide and centrally, and has a good character."

"Alan was an outstanding performer at Notts County last year and thoroughly deserved his move to Blackburn, where he has continued to show excellent form. I am sure he will add real value to the first team squad in the weeks ahead."

Judge began his career at Blackburn and made his first-team debut in August 2008. He will remain at Griffin Park for the remainder of the campaign.
