Mark Warburton has dismissed reports linking Brentford with a move for Liverpool youngster Jack Robinson.
Reports were circulating late last week that the Bees were battling Middlesbrough to sign the Reds defender on loan.
However, Jake Bidwell has penned a new three-year deal at Griffin Park and Nico Yennaris impressed in Saturday’s 3-2 win over Nice.
Alan McCormack will also come back into the reckoning next week against Osasuna and Warburton is happy with his options at full-back.
“Frank McParland signed him at Liverpool,” Warburton said of Robinson.
“He’s a full-back and if you look at Nico [Yennaris] who is equally comfortable on his left or right peg and Jake Bidwell who has been outstanding and just signed a three-year contract and there’s Alan McCormack as well. So we’re looking okay in that area.”
Warburton is still looking to add to his squad this summer and is hopeful of agreeing deals with two new faces next week.
