Brentford boss Mark Warburton has made bringing in another striker a top priority.

The Bees chief added Luton Town star Andre Gray to the squad last week following the departure of top scorer Clayton Donaldson to Birmingham City.

Will Grigg, who has been linked with League One outfit Bristol City, is the only other recognised frontman at the club.

Warburton and his players jet off to the US this morning for the club's pre-season training camp in Florida, with sporting director Frank McParland staying behind to work on deals.

"We're looking at bringing in another forward player," said Warburton, who has been linked with a move for in-demand Coventry hitman Callum Wilson.

"There may also be need for defensive cover but it's not a priority. We have Nico Yennaris who can play at right and left-back.

"I would have liked to get things done so we could take the players to Florida with us, but these things take time.

"It's important not to push it or you could end up losing out on targets."
