Martin Allen wants three more signings to complete his Barnet squad for the new Conference Premier campaign.

The Bees boss has managed to keep the core of last season’s team intact but still wants to add fresh blood.

New signings Daniel Bradley, John Akinde and Sam Muggleton have all arrived at the Hive this summer.

Replacement needed: Jake Hyde's goals will be missed next season

Jake Hyde’s departure for League Two York City has left Allen in need of goals though and a striker to partner Akinde remains a top priority.

Allen has gone with a skeleton backroom staff of just three in order to maximise his playing budget for the 2014-15 promotion push.

Barnet will face three fellow former Football League teams in their opening three games of the season – starting with a long trip to Chester on the opening day (August 9).
