Hayes & Yeading United are poised to sign Wycombe Wanderers keeper Alex Lynch on loan.

The 19-year-old only arrived at Adams Park from Peterborough United in the summer following his release by the Posh.

Capped by Wales at youth level, Lynch is highly rated by Wanderers goalkeeping coach Barry Richardson but is behind Matt Ingram and Charlie Horlock in the Blues pecking order.

Making notes: Phil Babb

United boss Phil Babb has been on the lookout for a replacement for Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz and wants Lynch and another new face, Calum Kitscha, to fight for the gloves.

Paperwork should be completed for the Lynch deal in the next 24 hours and will be confirmed later this week.

He will be the second of Wycombe's youngsters to head out on loan following fellow Chairboys hotshot Tommy Fletcher's move to Southern Premier side Chesham United.
