SPL side Aberdeen have lined up a loan move for Brentford defender Shaleum Logan.

The 25-year-old has been restricted to a bit-part role since Alan McCormack established himself as first-choice right-back in October, which has coincided with the club's 17-game unbeaten run.

However, Logan has featured more regularly since Mark Warburton took charge before Christmas and has started the past two games.

The arrival of versatile Arsenal defender Nico Yennaris has increased speculation about his future, with the former Manchester City full-back's contract due to expire at the end of the season.

The Dons are hoping to complete the deal in time for Saturday's Scottish League Cup semi-final against St Johnstone.
