SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS PREMIER
Hadley 2
London Tigers 1

LONDON Tigers slipped to their fourth loss of the season in wet conditions away at Hadley on Wednesday.

The Tigers have been on a poor run of form and an early mistake by Guram Gurameshvilli appeared to gift the hosts an early goal but custodian Jamie Adim pulled off a diving stop.

Hadley then took the lead through Luke Croll whose speculative effort somehow beat Adim to roll over the line.

Adim made two fine saves before half-time to redeem himself and keep the visitors interested but found himself picking the ball out of the net shortly after the restart.

The hosts' Kieran Smith pounced on another Tigers defensive lapse to double the scoreline, but Jon Muzzi pulled one back within minutes.

Jabir Labara collected a throw-in and played in Muzzi, who fired a first-time shot from nearly 30 yards and saw his curled attempt fly into the net.

The visitors, who have not earned a point since the second match of the season when they beat Hatfield Town, pushed forward in search of an equaliser.

But the Tigers failed to find the tying goal in the remaining 40 minutes and they went down 2-1.
