Ten-man London Tigers went down to a battling 3-0 defeat at Berkhamsted last night (Tuesday) in the Spartan South Midland Premier.

The visitors were a man short for the majority of a tricky fixture after goalkeeper Jamie Adim saw red for an off the ball incident, and Berkhamsted made their advantage pay with two late goals to add to Conor Colcutt’s fifth minute opener.

The Tigers had looked dangerous going forward until the game turned on a disputed penalty decision on the half hour mark, with Adim dismissed for his part in the melee that followed the award.

Substitute goalkeeper Arlyis Pampolim saved well from Josh Chamberlain’s spot kick and for much of the second half the visitor’s looked they might nick a point, with Jabir Laraba and Pedro Cotelo going close.

As the game became stretched Berkamsted made the extra man tell, Colcutt catching the Tigers on the break to claim his second with a neat finish before substitute James Bent rose to head past Pampolim and give the score line an emphatic edge.
