Chris Martin was sent off as Fulham but that didn't stop them beating Norwich 3-1 thanks to a goal from Stefan Johansen, a penalty from Tom Cairney and a last minute strike from Floyd Ayite.

There was only once change for this Good Friday clash with Norwich - Tim Ream came back into the starting XI in place of Michael Madl, who dropped out of the squad altogether.

The visitors got the first goal after five minutes when some fine work from Aluko saw him weave his way into the box before his cross, which was meant for Chris Martin, was deflected to Johansen who smashed it first time into the bottom corner from 18-yards.

It was an extremely open game but with little in the way of what you could call goalscoring chances, but Marcus Bettinelli pulled off a wonderful save from point blank range in the dying moments of the half from Timm Klose to keep Fulham's lead intact.

But it wasn't to be a good end to the half as Chris Martin was sent off for an alleged elbow on Mitchell Dijks in the dying moments of first 45 to set up an almighty task for Fulham after the break.

However, Fulham struck after the break when Tomas Kalas was tugged back and the referee awarded a penalty, which Cairney coolly slotted into the bottom right corner to double the lead.

Norwich got one back with 14 minutes left when they worked some space on the right, with Alex Pritchard whipping in a cross for Cameron Jerome to head home to half the defecit.

Bettinelli 7: Pulled off a wonderful point blank save in the first half to deny Klose a certain goal late in the second half.

Fredericks 7: Was a solid part of the defensive back four that played so well as a unit. Often found himself

Malone 7: Ran his socks off down the left and was a threat while Fulham had eleven men - once they went down to ten he wasn't afraid to bring the ball out of defense and drive forward.

McDonald 7: Was impressive in midfield breaking up Norwich attacks and put in a lot of strong defensive blokes to deny the home side chances at goal.

Cairney 7: Was back to his best pulling the strings from midfield once again and the Norwich defense didn't seem to know how to deal with him when he was in and around the edge of the 18 yard box.

Ayite 7: Didn't do much in the first half and was largely isolated during the second as a result of the sending off to Martin, but he was a constant outlet for Fulham to find with the ball when they broke. Scored the crucial last minute goal.

Ream 8: Crucial last ditch block denied a certain Norwich goal in the first half and had a solid all round game - one of his best for a while.

Johansen 8: Scored a wonderful goal from 18-yards and was in the face of the Norwich midfielders as soon as they touched the ball.

Aluko 8: Was a threat from time to time with some lovely skill down the right and was the architect on the first goal. Played a more defensive role in the second half and did well and it's his defensive work I'm giving him an eight for.

Martin 5: Struggled to hold the ball up before he was sent off in the final seconds of the first half for an elbow on Dijks which really put his team in a hard place.

Kalas 7: Won Fulham the penalty and like Ream, put in a number of important last ditch blocks and tackles to deny Norwich a sniff at goal.

Subs:

Piazon 7: Didn't have any real impact on the game but was brought on to defend the lead. Played a lovely ball through to Ayite to finish the tie off.

Sigurdsson N/A: Wasn't on the pitch long enough to score but played an important role in defending the barrage of Norwich corners.

Kebano N/A: Only played the last couple of minutes in added time.
