Ross Ahir scored a second-half winner as Hanwell United continued their storming start to the season with victory at table toppers Hanworth Sports Sunday.

However, the W7 outfit had to come from behind to continue their 100 per cent record in the Chiswick & District League, Division One title clash.

Jordan Hart gave the hosts the lead early on when he smashed the ball past Harry Keeler from a tight angle.

However, Hanwell were level before the break when Dominic Parillon fired home from the edge of the area, his eighth goal in just five games.

Match-winner: Hanwell hotshot Ross Ahir

The visitors got their noses in front on 60 minutes when Ahir reacted quickest to a loose ball in the box to put United 2-1 up.

Hanworth had two men dismissed while Hanwell's Rob Kempson also saw red as both sides ended the game without their full quota.

Elsewhere, Newton City were edged out of a seven-goal thriller by basement boys Osterley Wanderers.

City raced into a 2-0 half-time lead through Clive Martin and man of the match Karl Denny.

However, Osterley hit back after the break to win 4-3, despite Martin's second of the game.
