Hampton & Richmond 2-0 Wingate & Finchley
Hampton & Richmond joint-boss Paul Barry labelled the second half performance in the 2-0 win over Wingate & Finchley on Tuesday night as 'among their worst'.
First half goals from Charlie Moone - his 31st of the season - and Stuart Lake were enough to give the Beavers victory.
But Hampton did not build on their dominance in the second period and keeper Rodney Chiweshe produced two fine saves late on as Wingate threatened to come away with something.
Barry said on Twitter: "Not the best performance. Second half was among our worst but dug in and some excellent keeping gets another three points."
Moone opened the scoring against out-of-form Wingate after quarter of an hour with a half volley and Lake added the second on 33 minutes - thumping home after the visitors failed to clear a corner.
The win stretched the Beavers unbeaten league run to eight games, with four wins in five, but that record will be tested at high-flying Maidstone United on Saturday.
