Middlesex County League (Sundays)

Brad Hand starred as FC Bridge began life in the Middlesex County League (Sundays) Division One with an emphatic 6-0 win over Larkspur Rovers at Brunel on Sunday.

Hand continued where he left off last season for the newly-promoted side by scoring four goals, with further strikes added by Jack Clarke and Sean Tully.

Despite not scoring, Tommy Edwards took man of the match award after delivering an 'unplayable performance', according to manager Bazza Walsh.

After a cagey opening half with few opportunities it was Hand who opened the scoring from the penalty spot after being bought down by the visitors' keeper.

With a 1-0 lead secured at the break, the second half then opened up for the hosts and the goals began to flow more freely.

Hand quickly completed his hat-trick and then added a fourth as he rounded the goalkeeper and kept his composure to finish in the corner.

Winger Clarke then sliced a volley over the Larkspur goalkeeper before Tully also notched after beating the offside trap.
