Martin Allen is relishing the chance to field a strong line-up against Leyton Orient on Saturday.

Curtis Weston, Bira Dembele and Elliot Johnson are all back to full fitness following injury lay-offs and the trio are ready for selection against Barnet ’s London rivals.

The Bees boss said: “We’ve got a few players coming back in time for Saturday so we’ll have to step it up a gear.

“It’s a chance for us to get a really strong team out in a local derby and put in a good performance.

“The games that have been played here and the record we have got at home are fantastic.”

Michael Gash could also make his first start since returning from a serious injury after his two goals as a substitute in the defeat to Morecambe.

And Allen is already looking forward to what Gash can achieve next season with the Bees in 15th place, already safe from relegation.

He said: “He’s had a very serious injury and has been out for three months but we are absolutely delighted with him, he’s a great lad.

“We are going to train him hard now through to the end of the season and we will train him right through the summer.

“He will come back ready, fitter, faster and stronger than he has ever been in time for next season.

“Being safe is a nice position to be in; it’s strange though as I’m usually fighting the fires of relegation or trying to win a medal at this point of the season.

“The danger now is that we can’t afford to get complacent.”
