Martin Allen is hoping for a fourth clean sheet in a row and an improved attacking performance against Dagenham & Redbridge as he welcomes John Akinde back to the side.
Akinde will return from injury and is expected to start up front with Shaun Batt as Barnet look to avoid firing a blank for the third consecutive game.
The Barnet boss has been impressed with the Bees defence in recent weeks but knows they must score more goals.
Speaking to the Bees Player, Allen said: “Obviously we’ve been pleased with the defensive side, keeping this run of clean sheets, but for one reason or another we have only been able to play with one up front.
“John Akinde is now fit so he'll play up top with Shaun Batt so that should give us a little more threat than we have had.
“Of course playing with just one up front invites pressure to come back at the team so that’s happened in a few games but we have stood up to the challenge.”
Meanwhile, Barnet have decided extend Sam Muggleton's contract until the end of next season after Allen revealed a number of clubs were interested in taking the defender on loan.
The 20-year-old left back has only made one start in League Two this season but has regularly used been from the substitutes' bench.
Speaking to the Bees Player, Allen said: “Sam has done extremely well and has made a massive improvement. My phone doesn't stop ringing from clubs looking to take him on loan.
"He scored a hat trick last week in a reserve match and changed the game at half time when he came on against QPR.
"There is still a lot for him to work on but he is moving in the right direction."
Muggleton initially joined the Bees on loan towards the end of the 2013/14 season and signed permanently at the end of that campaign.
