DIVISION ONE NORTH Enfield Town 3 Hillingdon Borough 0

Hillingdon Borough's fourth clash of the season with Enfield Town resulted in their 11th league defeat in a row.

Enfield dominated from the outset and but for an excellent display from keeper Ben Harris the final score would have been much greater.

Defeat left Boro six points adrift at the bottom after Waltham Forest upset Aveley, becoming the first team to win way to the league leaders.

Mid table Enfield tested Harris through Rudi Hall and Jeff Hammond and Ashley Fongho also cleared off the Boro goal line, but then sliced a cross over his own keeper to open the scoring after 25 minutes.

Hillingdon's only chances fell to Sam Warrell who saw his free kick saved, while Jerry Lyons failed to get a shot away after being put clean through late in the half.

Two quick goals at the start of the second half then effectively sealed the win.

Michael Deane was given room to smash home an unstoppable shot from the edge of the area and Danny Wolf capitalised on a poor throw out by Harris, adding a clinical finish to make it 3-0 in the 52nd minute.

Boro finished the game on top but it was more as a result of Enfield easing up than Hillingdon finding some form and the nearest they came to a consolation was when Maxim Botov glanced a header just wide.
