Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic can't guarantee star player Ryan Sessegnon will be at the club by the end of the transfer window but doesn't believe he will be sold.
The Cottagers manager was talking today at his pre-match press conference, with speculation surrounding the left-back continuing over his future, with Liverpool reportedly long-term admirers.
The last thing Jokanovic needs is for any players leaving as he looks to add to what he's got, but it's not as easy as some supporters think for him.
The boss has also confirmed Sone Aluko is attracting big interest from this weekend's opponents Reading - but he is confident the striker won't be sol.
"I really don't believe we'll be in this kind of situation (selling)," said Jokanovic.
"We have started the season, and even though I can't guarantee it, I don't believe we are going to make this kind of step.
"Some clubs might be interested in Ryan Sessegnon, and Reading are interested in Sone Aluko, but I don't believe we will make this kind of step.
"This decision is not in my hands but I am fighting for these people already in the squad, important people in my squad, in the next 20 days."
