There was an early county cup exit for Hanworth Sports U15s on Sunday when they out at the first stage to Spartans 4-2, despite goals from Aderi Arthur-dede, and William Baker-Adams.

But the U14s got off to a flier with a 3-0 win over Walton Casuals, thanks to a Pedro Abreu hat-trick, while the U13s recorded a fine 5-1 win at Ewell Saxons, with two goals from Bradley O'Donell and one each from Mason Greenfield, Ryan Humphries and Morgan Newman.

The U11s, who last season won 24 out of 24 league games, started off this year with a loss as they moved to nine-a-side football, going down 4-2 to Worcester Park, Reuben Doe, grabbing both, while the U9 Griffins missed a penalty and conceded a own goal in a 1-1 draw with the Met Police, and the U9 bees went down to a late goal 2-1 at Junior Bees.

In the adult section, the Sunday team got off to a winning start as they stated life in Chiswick & District League Division One with a 4-1 win over Osterley Wanderers (Jordan Hart 2, Chris West, Josh Neary), while the newly formed Sunday reserves started with a 3-2 win at AFC Feltham Reserves in Division Three of the West Middlesex League (Saranus Streibeka 2, Ashley Nola).

The Saturday adult side also played their first game in intermediate status football in the Surrey South Eastern Combination but slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Fulham Deaf.

Elsewhere, Sam Robinson and Georgie Green both notched debut goals, while Luke Young bagged a brace, as Whitton Wanderers U15s opened their season with a 7-1 win over Hook Youth Blues on Sunday.

The newly promoted U12s won 3-0 at Leatherhead, with second half goals from William Evans, Joslin Gorleku and Liam Gleeson, while the U14 Eagles were denied all three points by a late penalty in a 1-1 draw against Kew Park Rangers after taking the lead through Josh Graham.

A Joe Edet strike and a Sherif Neziri brace saw the U10 Hawks come from behind to win 3-1 at Met Police, where Thomas Webb was man of the match, while four second half strikes saw the U10 Eagles beat Kingstonian Youth Royals.

Meanwhile, a Paul Fanning hat-trick, plus a Britton Niklekaj goal and a Ben Brookes lob from near the half way line saw Old Isleworthians U13s beat Sutton United.
