The match ball is usually the prize possession of a hat-trick hero – which left Explorers’ U15s with a problem on Sunday.

No less than three of the club’s teenage hot-shots had claim to the prize after D’Andre Wainwright, Krishan Nagha and Matty Greef all hit trebles in a 14-0 rout of Golden Eagles. Harry Tadman claimed a brace in the scoring spree, and there was one apiece for Henry Harris, Jake Sobalak and Cameron Baird.

The U9s also went goal crazy as they hit 11 without reply against Windsor Eagles Whites.Jake Pickett was chief destroyer here with four, while Reece Butler hit a hat-trick and Steeley Howell-Burton a brace. Ranvier Jamgotre also got on the score-sheet, with an own goal adding to Windsor’s misery.

Aiden Edwards was on target for the U10 Reds in their 1-1 draw with Chiswick Youth A where Jordan Katanda and Josh Odell shared the man of the match honours.

The club’s other four sides in action were all beaten, the U8 Blues losing a seven goal thriller at Windsor Owls Greens 4-3 despite a hat-trick from KJ. Their counterparts the U8s lost another goal fest 8-5 to Burnham Blues, where Charlie Penil, Max Matthews, Matthew Keane, Ethan Cupido and Harry Todd all scored one apiece and Joe Rossiter was named man of the match.

Jordan Hughes, George Howard and Nick Snaith were all on target for the U17s at home to Verenocomas, but it was not enough to prevent a 7-4 defeat, while the U10 Blues lost 4-2 to Concorde Rangers despite strikes from George Rowlands and Mohamed Bah.

Meanwhile, at near neighbours Hayes & Yeading Youth , the goals were also flowing, with the U15s leading the way as they trounced Acton Ealing Whistlers 11-0. Szymon Tabaka led the way with a four timer while Elijah Manning hit three, there was a brace for Jack Raines and one each for Laine Ambrose McAuliffe and Zac Hashi.

Two hat-trick heroes took the plaudits for the U16s as they won another goal fest 7-4 away at Eagles United. Man of the match Antonio Velay and Abdi Ali were those to bag the trebles with Mahdi Ghaddar the other man on target.

The U11s also won 7-1 at Parkfield, but there were three defeats too. The U12Bs lost 5-2 to Wealdstone while the U12As drew a blank as they went down 2-0 to Magix and the U13s were heavily beaten 5-0 by AFC Wembley.
