There's a time and a place for everything and Yoann Barbet picked the perfect time to mock his penalty miss against Norwich.
The Frenchman had blazed his spot kick miles over the bar, leading to jokes about where it ended up with it even reaching outer space.
And Barbet declared that his effort actually landed in the Bolton goal, replacing his free kick that put the Bees 1-0 up at the Macron Stadium.
He wrote on Twitter: “Get in!!! Finally we got the 3pts. Good team performance today. My ball from Tuesday finally landed. Thanks for your support again.”
Barbet's goal set the Bees on their way to a 3-0 win with Nico Yennaris and Ollie Watkins both scoring goals that rivalled him for goal of the day and, possibly, season.
Three points certainly has a way of making something that led to a lot of anger at the time funnier.
