SHAUN Wright-Phillips was left devastated after his mistake led to Arsenal's winner at the Emirates this afternoon.

So says QPR boss Neil Warnock, who side went down to a battling 1-0 defeat following Robin Van Persie's second half winner.

The Dutchman had been played in after Andre Arshavin pounced on a loose ball by Wright-Phillips in a dangerous area, and made no mistake.

Warnock said: “Shaun Wright-Phillips is devastated, which is harsh of the lad as he had a great game, and could even have won it for us down at the other end.

“It was a terrible goal for to concede from our point of view, but that's the fine line between winning and losing at Premier League level.

“But we came here positively with four forwards and tried to win the game – and I haven't seen the Emirates that quiet for a while.”
