IT’S a dream of every young Chelsea fan – leading out the teams at Stamford Bridge on a big match day.

But it will be a reality for the winner of our Chronicle west London derby competition.

We have teamed up with Premier League sponsors Barclays to offer a young supporter the opportunity to walk out with John Terry and company at Chelsea’s match with Fulham on Saturday, September 21.

Barclays has launched a campaign to say thank you to all the fans, community heroes, players and managers that do so much to make the game what it is.

The Blues versus Whites game is one of the capital’s showpiece fixtures of the season. The fierce rivals – whose grounds are just a mile apart – will be desperate to earn west London bragging rights in what is always a hotly contested derby.

Last year, the defences came out on top when the corresponding fixture finished goalless, but Chelsea won the away tie at Craven Cottage at a canter, winning 3-0 win courtesy of a double strike from captain Terry and a cool finish from David Luiz.

Chelsea fans will hopefully get a chance to see how new striker Samuel Eto’o is bedding in with established stars like Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard and Juan Mata.

Fulham, with stars Dimitar Berbatov, Darren Bent and Scott Parker in their ranks, will be no pushovers.

For the chance to win the experience of a lifetime, we are asking adults to nominate a Chelsea-supporting youngster aged between five and 12 who is available on Saturday, September 21.

As part of the prize, the winner will receive two tickets to watch the match plus a Barclays mascot kit bag.

To nominate a young fan, email BarclaysMascot@lexisagency.com explaining in no more than 100 words why you or your nominee are the biggest Chelsea fan in west London.

Make sure you include your name, the child’s name and age, your relationship to your child, your address and a daytime contact number. The closing date is midnight on Tuesday, September 10.
