Brentford, Fulham and Queens Park Rangers may not be in the FA Cup fourth round, but there are plenty of Championship sides involved this weekend.

And there are lower league sides too, with it being a case of David meets Goliath as Yeovil Town face Manchester United in the FA Cup this evening (Friday), but what are the chances of a cup upset?

There are 16 ties to look forward to, with many of the Premier League's big clubs in action.

Holders Arsenal bowed out in the third round against Nottingham Forest, but will there be any shocks this time around?

Our reporters have given their views on where the upsets could occur this weekend, with a couple of surprise predictions.

Javi Gracia

Javi Gracia's Watford reign will get off to a winning start, piling more pressure on Mauricio Pellegrino at Southampton.

The new Hornets boss will be desperate to make a good first impression on the fans and will be doing plenty of research on how to down the struggling Saints.

The upset of the round will come at Wigan Athletic as they will capitalise on David Moyes making a host of changes to progress to the fifth round of the competition they won.

Yeovil will give it a good go against Manchester United but the Red Devils will have enough to progress.

It will be the same for Newport County as Tottenham produce a professional performance to see off the Welsh club's challenge.

Alexis Sanchez

The fourth round of the FA Cup may not be as eagerly-anticipated as the third round, but it has still thrown up some interesting ties.

With Yeovil Town hosting Manchester United and Newport County welcoming Tottenham Hotspur to Rodney Parade, there is the chance of some FA Cup romance.

But realistically, it is hard to see how either Yeovil or Newport will be able to topple their illustrious opponents.

Particularly with Alexis Sanchez possibly involved for Manchester United, he could well shine on his debut and score a couple of goals to get his United career off and running.

There are potential upsets around though; Wigan Athletic will fancy their chances against injury-hit West Ham United, while Leicester City could have trouble against Peterborough United, if their third round tie with Fleetwood Town is anything to go by.

Notts County will also fancy their chances against the Premier League's bottom club Swansea City, but the top flight's big hitters should progress without too many problems.

David Moyes

This looks like a weekend that will see Premier League clubs flex their muscles in the FA Cup and upsets could be few and far between.

It'd be great to see Yeovil or Newport get the better of Manchester United or Spurs, I just cannot see it happening.

But there will be a couple of teams defeating their opponents from higher divisions.

Coventry will be backed by 8,000 fans at Milton Keynes tomorrow, likely to be outnumbering the home crowd, and they'll fancy their chances. MK have a new manager in place, but have been struggling in League One.

And Middlesbrough could well get a result against Brighton too, although that will not be too much of an upset.

If a Premier League team are to fall on their sword in embarrassing fashion, it'll be West Ham at Wigan. They struggled against Shrewsbury in the third round and a performance like that will see them suffer the same fate as Bournemouth.

For me this is a less-than-interesting round of the FA Cup.

I love the buzz of the first round, hoping for shocks, and of course the third round with its potential for non-league upsets.

As far as the fourth round goes, Yeovil Town vs Manchester United and Newport County vs Tottenham are the only ties that whet my appetite and I can’t see either of the big boys succumbing.

That said, I quite fancy Yeovil to get a draw this evening against Alexis Sanchez and co.

Looking at the other ties, I quite fancy League Two Coventry City to match League One MK Dons and possibly go through after a replay.

Also Wigan Athletic, having dumped out Bournemouth after a replay, will fancy their chances against West Ham. I know David Moyes has done much to improve the Hammers but I reckon League One table-toppers Wigan could edge that one and they will be relishing the chance.

I would just add I’m a romantic and maybe my picks are taken more with my heart than my head.

Pep Guardiola

Often we say the magic of the FA Cup has gone. For the most part that is true as clubs put out weakened sides and see the competition as a distraction from their league ambitions at the top, bottom and for some odd reason even the middle of the table.

I don't think that's the case in South Wales as Newport and Cardiff take on Premier League side's Tottenham and Manchester City at home.

The Exiles clung on to League Two status by the skin of their teeth last year and this is a deserved reward for their improvement.

The new Rodney Parade pitch might not be as daunting for Spurs as last season's but sometimes it's just meant to be and I reckon they earn a replay.

Cardiff look to be welcoming a sold out crowd for the first time in years and the battle between Neil Warnock and Pep Guardiola will be an interesting one at the very least.

I think the likes of Sol Bamba and Sean Morrison could battle to a draw though.

With over half of the Premier League teams concentrating on staying out of the relegation zone, there is potential for lower league clubs to cause a shock in the FA Cup this weekend.

Brighton haven’t won a league game since before Christmas, and face a tricky trip north to play Tony Pulis’ Middlesbrough side where an upset could be on the cards.

Premier League bottom club Swansea City could also struggle away to Kevin Nolan’s Notts County.

I’ll also stick my neck on the line and say that Newport County will force a replay at Wembley.

The last time Tottenham Hotspur travelled to Wales they struggled to deal with the pitch in poor weather conditions at Swansea, despite coming away with a 2-0 win.

Newport’s Rodney Parade is known for it’s less than perfect pitch, with rugby union side Dragons also calling the ground their home, which will certainly play into Newport’s hands.
