Two goals either side of half-time were enough to subject QPR to a 2-0 defeat against Derby County at the iPro stadium.
The result extends the Hoops unwanted record of 16 games without a win on the road, and won't have encouraged many of the travelling fans after failing to create any clear-cut chances.
A disappointing night all in all, but here are our three top performers on the night.
Three stars - Josh Scowen
The midfielder was QPR's best player in the east midlands.
In a four-man midfield, it was Scowen's responsibility to provide the discipline, something which he did relatively well until Vydra's first half goal.
Scowen kept fighting until the end, but won't have enjoyed the experience of being over-run by Derby's engine room.
Two stars - Jamie Mackie
The 32-year-old was effective in the first half, making a nuisance of himself and doing well to win the ball back against the odds on several occasions.
It may not have been the most polished display, but he looked the most likely to make something hapen in the Hoops XI.
One star - Ryan Manning
The youngster was introduced at half-time and looked decent on the left, before being moved into centre midfield.
Assured in defence, and keen to get forward, it's time for Manning to be given a proper opportunity in an under-performing Hoops team.
