The crisis at West Ham is not about to tempt Harry Redknapp back to one of his favourite former clubs, insists the QPR boss.

The pressure is mounting on Sam Allardyce at Upton Park after two cup disasters for the Hammers this week, but Redknapp has again underlined his commitment to his west London employers.

“I'm happy,” he said. “I've got a great job at QPR and I'm enjoying it here. I've got a real challenge on my hands to try to get these promoted and I'm loving it here at the moment.

“There's no-one better than Sam around to get them out of the situation they're in. Sam's your man and he's excellent at his job.

“I just think he's been unlucky. The team's been decimated and I don't know what he can do.

"The team hasn't been good enough because he's lost four or five of his best players – and if you take four or five of the best players out of any team in the country, they'll be nowhere near what they were.

“When he gets everyone back, they will be a different team and I'm sure they'll survive.”
