NEIL Warnock hailed QPR's west London derby win against Chelsea as 'the greatest day of his career'.

Heidar Helguson's first-half penalty separated the sides at Loftus Road as the visitors played more than a half with just nine men.

Warnock said: “It's amazing. We stressed before the game that this was no ordinary match, it's a derby.

“We started well and got among them and deserved our goal. They're a great side – even with nine men.

“I thought we did ever so well all over the pitch. It was the greatest day of my career because of the importance to the fans.”
