Mark Warburton does not intend to ring the changes for his first full match in charge at Brentford.

Warburton was moved sideways from sporting director following former manager Uwe Rosler's departure in order to give some stability to Brentford's promotion push.

And the continuity will be the name of the game for the new gaffer when Oldham visit Griffin Park tomorrow.

He said: “Of course , I have got to put my own fingerprint on what we do, but why change it when there is such a lot of good work being done.

“I spoke to Uwe Rosler more than my wife when he was manager. We would speak about players and targets, and I watched every game home and away, as we could hardly discuss those things without me seeing what was happening.

“We had a good relationship. I hope to change a few things I think need changing – but at the same time, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.”

Warburton also revealed he will not be drawing up a different list of January transfer targets to the one Rosler had as it would have pretty much been the same names anyway.

He added: “We know he area's we're looking at, and not a lot of changes are needed really.”
