There’s always one joker in the changing room - at Fulham, it’s Kevin McDonald - eligible again tonight after serving a three-match ban.

The ex-Wolves player has been drumming his fingers on the touchline following his red card in the 4-0 home debacle against Bristol City.

No doubt he has made his team-mates laugh during the enforced interim, according to right-back Denis Odoi.

“I’m not the comedian,” the defender said. “I think Kevin McDonald is a funny guy in his way.

“I think we have overall a very good group, very cohesive. Before I think there was a lot of different nationalities, now there are a lot of English or British players.

Then the other guys who came here are settling in the group. It is not like they form a separate group or whatever and I like that about the club.”

What the club would like is a second three points in four days to go with the 4-2 away win at Barnsley on Saturday.

McDonald could well take the place of Scott Parker, either as starter or sub.

The Fulham skipper got clattered at Oakwell with a straight red shown to Josh Scowen as a result.

The 36-year-old might see this as a game too far - at least for the entire 90 minutes.
