Brentford twice came from behind before grabbing a dramatic late winner to take a 3-2 victory at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.

Rudy Gestede's opener was cancelled out by Chris Long but Chris Taylor gave Rovers a 2-1 advantage on the stroke of half-time.

However, Jota had other ideas and embarked on a 70-yard run that went unchallenged by Blackburn's defence.

When he got within shooting distance he unleashed a powerful effort past Jason Steele and into the net.

The Spaniard set up the third as his powerful shot was palmed into the path of Andre Gray by Steele to give the Bees a vital win.

Manager Mark Warburton was delighted with the reaction his side showed after going behind before the break.

He said: “We made some individual errors and were frustrated and annoyed at half time, but it was a fantastic response in the second half. We looked dangerous, moved the ball well and coped better with their physicality."
