Table-topping Wycombe Wanderers swept AFC Wimbledon aside to stretch their unbeaten run to 10 games at the expense of the Dons on Saturday.
Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley, a former team-mate and good friend of Chairboys chief Gareth Ainsworth, admitted his side had been out-worked and out-thought by the league’s top dogs.
"I've got no complaints about today's result,” he said. “When teams are at the top of the table they are there for a reason.
"I think they out-worked us. They won most of the second balls and had quality in the right areas when they needed it."
