Patrick Bamford scored twice to help Middlesbrough secure a 4-1 victory over Ipswich and maintain their push for the Championship title.

The striker, on loan from Chelsea produced a wonderful turn, run and shot to make it 3-1 and then repeated the trick to make it four.

Bamford has scored 13 goals for Boro in the league this season and also scored in their shock 2-0 victory at Manchester City in the FA Cup earlier this season.

The 21-year-old is one of Chelsea's brightest prospects but is yet to make a first team appearance for the Blues, although manager Jose Mourinho thinks highly of him.

He spent the first half of last season on loan at League One side MK Dons, scoring 17 goals in 30 games.

Chelsea looked to push him to the next level and he joined Derby for the second half where he scored eight league goals in 21 appearances for the Rams as they were beaten in the Championship play-off final.
