Alex Pritchard’s second-half penalty fired Brentford to victory at Norwich City.

The on-loan Spurs youngster made no mistake from the spot to give the Bees a 2-1 victory at Carrow Road and end Alex Neil’s unbeaten start as Canaries boss.

Jota broke the deadlock early on for the visitors before Nathan Redmond’s leveller and Pritchard won it for the away side after Andre Gray was pulled down in the box.

Brentford manager Mark Warburton felt his side fully deserved the three points against what he deems as one of the Championship’s strongest squads.

He said: “I’m absolutely delighted. It’s a tough place to come.

“I sensed the trepidation from the fans and they were a Premier League club last year, a very talented squad. But from the first whistle I thought we were great and on the front foot."
