Luke Daniels met with the media, including GetWestLondon, on Wednesday (July 5) to talk about his move to Brentford and his aims for the season.
The Bees signed the goalkeeper on a free transfer after his contract from Scunthorpe expired and he joined up with his new team-mates last week at the start of pre-season training.
Daniels is also joining up with Dan Bentley again, having worked with him during a loan spell at Southend and he spoke about the relationships between the rivals for the shirt.
“We get on really well and we both understand one of us is going to play on a Saturday. It's friendly but the competition is there,” he said.
“If I give him my best and he gives me his best it's good for everyone. There's no point being funny about it. We've just got to get on with it.”
