It's set to be an exciting few days as QPR, Fulham and Brentford look to add the finishing touches to their teams.
All three teams have expressed an interest in strengthening their squads, while also having a number of highly sought-after stars who may well attract bids from other teams.
But what do we know about the closing of the transfer window? Here's everything you need to know
When does the transfer window shut?
QPR, Fulham and Brentford will all have until 11pm on Thursday 31 August to get their business done, loans included; with lots of business to still be done I wouldn't be surprised if it was a late night for our west London teams.
Can they sign players after?
The window will officially close at 11pm, but deals will continue to be announced after that deadline.
Should clubs submit all the necessary paperwork before to the Football League before the deadline, they could be given extra time to finalise a deal.
There is also dispensation should City suffer a goalkeeping crisis
Can City still sign free agents once the window has closed?
Yes they can and it's certainly something worth utilising.
Free agents can be signed at any time during the season, meaning even after the transfer window has closed. With many good players still without clubs, it's certainly an option worth considering.
When does the window reopen?
Our west London clubs will have to wait until January 1 before they can make any more transfers or loans.
How can i keep up with what my club are doing as the transfer window approaches?
