ASHFORD Town will be gunning for revenge on Saturday, warns Harrow boss David Howell.

Borough swept aside the Middlesex outfit 3-1 in the League Cup semi final nine days ago, despite playing most of the second half with 10 men after striker Dewayne Clarke was sent off for violent conduct.

Young Gary Noel led the attack superbly on his own and scored the opener before Jerome Hall doubled their advantage.

Byron Harrison's 90th minute effort set up a tense five minutes of injury time but a lightning quick break saw on-loan midfielder Dorian Smith secure the win with his first goal in Harrow colours.

"Ashford will be out for a bit of revenge, most definitely," said Howell. "But they will have a stronger side for this game than they did for the cup match.

"They were without a few players that day and will have three or four players back that are normally automatic choices.

"They've done well since we beat them and know it will be a tough game as it will be easy for their manager to motivate his players."

Howell, who saw his side held to a goalless draw by Sutton United on Tuesday night, has set his sights on a top 11 finish in the Ryman Premier and hopes a bit of prestige for the club will follow.

"Nobody believes we play in the Ryman Premier as Sky Sports only ever show the top 11 sides in the

table," he added. "I think 46 points gets us there and we're on 41 now. I'm getting sick and tired of not seeing us in the top 11 on the television."

Striker Clarke, meanwhile, will pay a heavy price for his kick on Ashford skipper Richard Logie - his three match ban includes the League Cup final.

"It was a petulant, silly thing to do and this is his punishment," commented Howell.
