Thorgan Hazard insists he is only focused on Borussia Monchengladbach despite suggestions Chelsea may exercise their buyback option on the young Belgian playmaker.

Thorgan, younger brother of Eden Hazard, scored twice at the weekend as Gladbach strolled past Werder Bremen in a 4-1 win and continued an impressive start to the Bundesliga season.

The 23-year-old joined Gladbach on loan in the summer of 2014 and they then signed him on a permanent deal until 2020 last February.

The Blues reportedly have to activate the buy-back clause by the end of this year and would have to pay €15 million to re-sign him but Hazard is not interested in listening to the rumours surrounding his future.

"I've signed a long-term deal and I am only focused on Borussia," he said.

"I feel good here, and am currently not thinking about any other club."

He now has six goals in just seven appearances this term and attributes his his new role in Gladbach's setup as the reason for making him more prolific in front of goal.

"I play up front a bit more, and also in a more central position," he said. "It's normal I score more goals."
