FORMER Brentford legend Gary Blissett may be the star turn as the Brentford fans behind Silk Scarves & Chomp Bars look to make it third time lucky on Tuesday.
The new Brentford book has already seen its launch hit twice by the snow, before the postponed Notts County and Huddersfield home games.
The book is a compilation of stories from Bees fans of all ages, complied by Matt Casey, who braved the snow to hold a small launch in The Griffin pub on Saturday.
However, he is hoping for a bigger launch at the Tranmere game on Tuesday, featuring former Bees boss Martin Allen before the game and Blissett after it.
Allen has already signed more than 400 copies of the book, having travelled through icy conditions to meet the book’s movers and shakers at a hotel in High Wycombe last week to work his way through the signings.
