JOHN Terry and Frank Lampard's return to fitness is a major boost for Chelsea.

So says Florent Malouda , who has seen the Blues struggle in the pair's absence.

Boss Carlo Ancelotti hopes to have his captain and vice-captain back for Saturday's clash with Everton.

And Malouda is expecting the duo to be champing at the bit following spells on the sideline.

He said: "For five or six years they've played most of the games, so it's good for them to have some rest because they will come back stronger.

"They are the kind of players who are leaders. I think we are a better team with them."
