League Two new boys Barnet have reportedly turned down a £250,000 bid for youth team striker Matt Stevens.
The 17 year old, who bagged more than 50 goals for the Conference champions last term, appears to caught the eye of the Premier League Swans.
Former Reading U16 striker Stevens became Barnet's youngest ever player when he came off the bench in the Conference clash against Alfreton last September, before making his first start in the FA Trophy exit to Concorde Rangers three months later.
Bees boss Martin Allen, meanwhile, has certainly not been resting on his laurels since guiding his side back into the Football League.
He has signed strikers Ben Tomlinson and Kevin Lisbie and brought back midfielder Tom Champion, who was part of Barnet's 2005 Conference title-winning side.
Michael Gash and Sam Togwell have also extended their stays at The Hive, while Adrian Whitbread, who has previously been Allen's assistant at Brentford, MK Dons and Leicester, has linked up with his former boss once more as part of his coaching staff.
