QPR picked up their maiden away win at Sunderland earlier this week and they had to rely on man of the match Rob Green to get over the line.

Rangers had set a new Premier League record having failed to pick up a single point from their first 11 fixtures on the road this season.

But Bobby Zamora and Leroy Fer got the goals to stop the rot, the latter suffering medial ligament damage which will rule him out for the next 10 weeks.

Green was outstanding, yet again, denying Jermain Defoe while the R’s forwards did the damage at the other end.

He was rewarded for his performance with an average rating of 8.9/10.

Fer, who will be sorely missed, finished just behind on 8.4/10 with Rangers’ other scorer finishing third on the list.
