NEIL Warnock has made bringing in a new striker his number one priority this summer.

With 13-goal top scorer Jay Simpson set to return to Arsenal, the QPR boss only has Rowan Vine and youngster Antonio German at his disposal, with Heidar Helguson and Patrick Agyemang surplus to requirements at Loftus Road.

So Warnock will use the close season trying to boost a side that's managed just 58 league goals this campaign.

He said: "We are just missing a bit up front and I want to spend most of my summer trying to find a striker."
