RAYNERS Lane FC celebrated their 75th anniversary by having Spurs legend Steve Perryman as the main guest for their annual presentation dinner and dance on Saturday.

He presented the awards and spoke about his upbringing in the local area and his football career.

Comedian Willie Thompson then entertained the audience with his full range of jokes. President Tom Lynn and secretary Tony Pratt cut a special anniversary cake.

Award winners were as follows:

Barry Nivett Award: Fergus Meaney;

George Giles Award: Tony Pratt;

Keith Barber Award: Hugh McPhillips.

Veterans Players' Player of the Year: Chris Cockram;

Veterans Player of the Year: Peter Randall.
